My approach to counselling

I trained as an integrative therapist, combining a person-centred approach with a psychodynamic outlook. More recently, I have been exploring an existential framework.

In all my work I put my clients firmly at the centre of their own therapy. By listening to your story, at your pace, I walk alongside you. We are on your journey together, held by my core values of authenticity, validation and compassion.

Working in a non-directive way, I aim to help you understand your story, to write new endings should you wish to.

Counselling is about working out and understanding where you are, why you are, and who you are…

Exploring your life experiences

By concentrating on you and your unique experiences, we can work together to identify ways to help you build the best life possible. The best life tailored to your life choices.

Exploration of anxieties and concerns will be undertaken with supreme kindness and professionalism. We are all human, with very real battles to endure, mountains to climb and fears to face. I can support you in carving out purpose and direction.

My approach is gentle, a subtle study of feelings and the true appreciation of self.
